how do i post a photo in a topic?

i tried to post a photo of my traveller car into the topic, but it failed me. how can help?

About 1MB. What should be the size?

The current setting is 800 x 800 pixels, but I thought larger pictures would automaticaly be resized. Have to check this... But pictures within 800 x 800 should work fine.
