Interior nearly complete: Fionn (hull #18)

Post by Bob McGovern »

Some of the bulkheads have been sanded many times, so the face veneers are almost gone. I may apply PSA veneer, or just cover the burned-thru areas with a magazine rack or mirror. These photos mostly pre-date stuffing the cushions with quilt batting.

That ladder, BTW, is a very cheap Vevor aluminum dock ladder -- chopped down, bent, and painted.

I wanted to get the heavy wooden steps off the engine cowl (which is completely remade) and provide some handholds and evenly-spaced treads. It weighs around 5kg and removes in a few seconds.
