The Ballad Exchange

When I got my boat the tiller had been replaced. Because it was broken, I made a new one the same length and shape. But it seems a bit too long, especially as the boat is so well balanced, so I'm wondering if the thing needs to be shortened a bit. Can anyone tell me the correct length of the original tiller?

Last year, we build a new tiller, because the old one was way to short. I measured 3 tillers from different Ballads to get the right length.
They varied from about 100cm to 110cm. We decided to build it 105cm:-) It works fine, but I don´t know if it is the original length...
