by the vagabond dreamer for everyone
I have just looked at the pictures of Kabous0's restoration of Minstrel and can only say WELL DONE.  We are still working on Vagabond Dreamer after all these months and can truly appreciate the time, effort and devotion (not to mention cost) of what you have done, espescially since our hull was relatively free of marine growth whereas yours probably qualified as an "ecosystem".

It is truly a beautiful boat that you can be justifiably proud of.

Use and enjoy.

Sincerely,

Mark

Man, Minstrel doesn't look like she was simply restored,
she looks like she was remanufactured!  Super job.

Hello Kabous!
Mark and I talked at lunch about Minstrel.
Since we have basically done the same sort of thing...we know what kind of project you took on! It's amazing what can be done when you  put your mind to it. There are a lot of LONG hours of labor to get to that point!
I'm hoping we will be back in the water next month. There are still a lot of small projects to be done...but she should be wettable soon. Mainly now just painting the cockpit and installing the hardware.

CONGRATS on a job VERY well done!!!

Thanks

I've been following your progress for some time now. Keep up the good work. I was too afraid to paint Minstrel blue again as I know that imperfections show up more the darker the color gets. In the end I could have painted it blue but lacked the courage. Vagabond looks stunning. I will add some more pictures sometime next week as the boat will be finished by then (outside at least)

Regards

Hi Nicholas

Nice pics you've got. That's what we should be taking pictures of - a sailing trip, not of boats being toiled on. The wife liked your dog and wants ours (Labrador Retriever) also onboard but he is so fat he'll probably sink the boat. Some more pics next week.

Regards

Kabous
