She looks beautiful.  Is that a wind generator?  Do you have any solar panels as well?
I'm wondering what is sticking out of the bow, since we can clearly see the spinnaker pole?

No, we don't have a wind generator - the pole on the stern is just an aerial mounting.
 
No, no solar panels either!  Power is from the engine - or the marina mains supply.
 
The fitting on the bow is a removable bow-sprit for the assymetric.  I'll send a close up photo later.  We're off racing now - IF we get any wind, today!

She looks very nice. Same colour as our Aemilia #978. Is it right that you've increased the boom length to create more area for your mainsail?

about one and a half feet longer.

Sailing in the Algarve , light winds  are
common . the longer boom gives noticably

better speed when two sail running and reaching .up
wind in a flat sea at 35 degrees

apparent 1 could do 5 knots in 10 knots of wind ,
now I can do 5 in 8 knots.

the foot of the sail was cut so that the boom
angles slightly upwards to just clear

my head in the event of an accidental jibe. looks
